AVK UK Smart Water and Pressure Management Solutions at WWT Wastewater conference

With £104bn of upgrades to the UK’s water and wastewater networks over the next five years, the industry is entering a time of great change and opportunity. 

The WWT Wastewater 2025 Conference and Exhibition in Birmingham this month is one of the first opportunities for water companies, regulators, suppliers, and other industry experts and professionals to gather to discuss AMP8 following Ofwat’s final decision at the end of December.

AVK UK will be among those at the event, which takes place on 28th-29th January at the National Conference Centre. The industry leading supplier of valves, fittings, Smart Water and pressure management solutions, will be on-hand to demonstrate their products and discuss how they are supporting customers in their obligations under the ambitious environmental and pollution reducing targets set out between now and 2030.

The WWT conference will focus on how the industry plans to address challenges such as reducing stormwater overflows, mainstreaming catchment and nature-based solutions, reducing process emissions and investing in smart networks and low-carbon treatment.
