Donkin Flow Limitor (Emergency Flow Valve)

Gas Flow Limitor (EFV) to MSS SP115 Inlet Pressure: 10 psig (0.69 Bar) to100psig (6.90 Bar). Capacity: 725 SCFH (20.5 m /hr) to 1715 SCFH (48.58 m /hr).

The Donkin™ Flow Limitor is an emergency shut off valve that provides service line safety, service line theft protection and automatic shut off. Should gas flow exceed limits, the flow limitor will simultaneously trip and shut off the gas, remaining closed until repairs have been made. Once the fault has been rectified, a small bleed-by flow enables the service to regain pressure equalising the pressure and allowing the unit to reset for normal operation.

For direct insertion into the outlet of a standard 32mm tapping saddle. When inserted into the saddle outlet rather than the service pipe one size flow limitor can be used for all services of 32mm and below through the use of a reducing electro-fusion coupler.
